Taiwan always holds a special place in my heart. Be it the glorious Taiwanese food, beautiful scenery in Kenting National Park and Taroko National Park, or the Instagrammable places in Taichung, Taiwan never fails to captivate and surprise me. Needless to say, most of us plan for a stopover in Taipei before heading off to explore other parts of Taiwan so unsurprisingly, I did the same and explored some of the iconic places and must-try food in Taipei before heading to Taichung.
